Welded steel pipes are divided into furnace-welded pipes, electrically welded (resistance welded) pipes and automatic arc-welded pipes due to their different welding processes. They are divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes due to their different welding methods. They are divided into round welded pipes and special-shaped (square, flat, etc.) welded pipes due to their end shapes.

Fine steel pipes are a kind of high-precision steel pipe material that has been cold-drawn or hot-rolled. Fine steel pipes have the advantages of no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls, no leakage under high pressure, high precision, high brightness, no deformation when cold-bent, and no cracks when expanded or flattened, so they are mainly used to produce pneumatic or hydraulic components, such as cylinders or oil cylinders.
