Safety protection in the construction of anti-corrosion steel pipes in industrial projects

At present, the more commonly used steel pipes are anti-corrosion steel pipes. There are mainly 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes, TEPE anti-corrosion steel pipes, epoxy resin anti-corrosion steel pipes, etc. So, what should be paid attention to during the construction of anti-corrosion steel pipes?

1. Spraying process of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes
At present, most 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe manufacturers in my country adopt the production process of “epoxy powder spraying, adhesive, and polyethylene lateral extrusion, winding roller pressing”. This is because the powder and electrostatic thermal spraying methods do not require rolling, which solves the problem of a thin coating on the weld of spiral welded steel pipes, saves plastic extruders and other equipment on the production line, and reduces energy consumption. Specific construction: Heat the steel pipe after shot blasting to 210°C~220°C at a medium temperature. At this time, the epoxy powder is still in a molten state. The adhesive and PE are extruded into thin sheets through an extruder, sprayed and wound on the steel pipe, and then flattened by a roller. The epoxy powder is in powder form, and the adhesive and PE are in granular form, so only electrostatic spraying and plasticizing extrusion winding methods can be used.

2. Epoxy resin anti-corrosion steel pipe paint surface construction
The coal tar enamel anti-corrosion layer is a hot-coated anti-corrosion material with coal tar, washing oil, asphalt, etc. as the main materials, assisted by a participating agent. It has the advantages of strong bonding, low water absorption, good insulation, resistance to bacterial corrosion, resistance to plant root penetration, resistance to dissolution of petroleum and its products, resistance to soil stress, resistance to cathode stripping, and long life, so it is suitable for the anti-corrosion of various underground pipelines. However, when applying epoxy resin anti-corrosion steel pipe paint, you need to first open the thick paper barrel, take out the block paint, break it into small pieces that are heated and melted, put it in a container with a stirrer, and avoid contamination. Use a closed heater to heat slowly and evenly to avoid direct contact of the paint with the fire source.

3. Safety protection in the construction of anti-corrosion steel pipes
Spraying is highly dispersed paint mist and volatile solvents. The fine particles in these sprays or spray paints can be easily inhaled into the human lungs, thereby endangering health. In mild cases, people feel uncomfortable and have headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and lack of concentration. In severe cases, the respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system, and reproductive system of the human body are poisoned to varying degrees. Therefore, safety protection should be paid attention to in the construction of anti-corrosion steel pipes, such as: wearing protective glasses or goggles to prevent splashed paint from entering the eyes and injuring the eyes; wearing respiratory protection equipment such as gas masks or long-tube respirators; wearing suitable chemical protective gloves can effectively protect the hands from being hurt by paint or other liquids.
