1. Sandblasting and rust removal method: Sandblasting and rust removal uses a high-power motor to drive the sandblasting blades to rotate at high speed so that abrasives such as steel sand, steel shots, iron wire segments, and minerals can sandblast the surface of the steel pipe under the effect of centrifugal force. , not only can rust, oxides, and dirt be completely removed, but the spiral steel pipe can also achieve the required uniform roughness under the action of severe abrasive impact and friction.
2. Pickling method: Chemical and electrolytic methods are usually used for pickling treatment. Only chemical pickling is used for pipeline anti-corrosion, which can remove scale, rust, and old coatings. Sometimes it can be used as a reprocessing after sandblasting and rust removal. Although chemical cleaning can make the surface reach a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, its anchor lines are shallow and it can easily pollute the environment.
3. Tool rust removal method: First use tools such as wire brushes to polish the surface of the spiral steel pipe to remove loose or lifted oxide scales, rust, welding slag, etc. Manual tool rust removal can reach the Sa2 level, and power tool rust removal can reach the Sa3 level. If a strong iron oxide scale is attached to the surface of the spiral steel pipe, the tool rust removal effect will not be ideal and the depth of anchor pattern required for anti-corrosion construction will not be achieved.
4. Cleaning method: Use solvents and emulsions to clean the surface of spiral steel pipes to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants, and similar organic matter. However, it cannot remove rust, oxide scale, flux, etc. on the surface of spiral steel pipes, so it is not suitable for anti-corrosion. It is only used as an auxiliary method.
