Hardness of galvanized layer of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe

For induction heating of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe, heating is usually started from the outer wall of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe to improve its mechanical properties. The galvanized demagnetized steel pipe method has simple equipment and processes, can meet the requirements of ordinary heat treatment demagnetization, and has been widely used in the production of demagnetized steel pipe. Involving induction heating and heat treatment of the inner wall, due to the limitation of the internal space of the hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe and the characteristics of the electromagnetic field itself, the relevant equipment structure and process parameters must be carefully designed to meet the process settings. On the other hand, the service life of the hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe depends not only on the hardness of the demagnetized steel pipe after heat treatment, but also on the depth of the hardened layer. The depth of the hardened layer is closely related to the heating temperature, cooling intensity, and cooling time, so the temperature-related parameters must be accurately controlled.

To solve the problem of demagnetized steel pipe, the present invention designs a device and method for heating and cooling the inner wall of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe, that is, a coil is wound with a multi-turn electromagnet copper tube and arranged inside the hot-dip galvanized demagnetized seamless steel pipe. During the design, manufacture, and use of the equipment, the relevant equipment and process parameters are controlled within a reasonable range to make the heating process efficient, stable, and controllable. During the production process, the demagnetized steel pipe after induction heating is immediately sprayed with water for quenching and cooling to improve its hardness and wear resistance, and ultimately improve the service life of the hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe product. It can be said that this method is an important step and procedure for hardening hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipes. Only in this way can the demagnetized steel pipe have better quality, greater hardness, and better effect. Hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe is a high-precision seamless steel pipe material after cold drawing or hot rolling.

Because the hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe has no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls, no leakage under high pressure, high precision, high finish, no deformation under cold bending, and no cracking under expansion and flattening, it is mainly used for the production of subway threading or pre-buried casing, which can be a demagnetized seamless pipe or a demagnetized welded pipe. The chemical composition of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe includes carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, and chromium. The application of hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe must pay attention to the influence of the surrounding environment to prevent corrosion. In addition, regular maintenance is also required to increase the service life of the hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe.
