What is an alloy steel welded pipe?

There are two types of alloy steel welded pipe, high alloy steel welded pipe and low alloy steel welded pipe. Low alloy steel welded pipe manufacturing up of pipes with an alloying percentage of less than 5%. A high alloy steel's alloying content would be anything from 5% to roughly 50%. Alloy steel welded pipe is part of the alloy steel pipe. Alloy Welded Steel Pipe is used in applications that require moderate corrosion resistance properties with good durability and at an economical cost. Simply put, alloy welded steel pipes are preferred in those areas where carbon steel pipes may fail.
